Mapping current and activity fluctuations in exclusion processes: consequences and open questions

چکیده
Considering the large deviations of activity and current in Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process (ASEP), we show that there exists a non-trivial correspondence between joint scaled cumulant generating functions two ASEPs with different parameters. This mapping is obtained by applying similarity transform on deformed Markov matrix source model order to obtain target model. We first derive this for periodic boundary conditions, diffusive scaling limit (corresponding Weakly Processes, or WASEP) how expressed language Macroscopic Fluctuation Theory (MFT). As an interesting specific case, map ASEP SSEP, thereby uncovering regime Kardar--Parisi--Zhang distribution SSEP. At activity, particle configurations exhibit hyperuniformity [Jack et al., PRL 114, 060601 (2015)]. Using results from quantum spin chain theory, characterize hyperuniform evaluating small wavenumber asymptotic behavior structure factor at half-filling. Conversely, formulate MFT conjecture correlation function chains any fixed total magnetization (in thermodynamic limit). In addition, generalize case open reservoirs, apply it WASEP formalism. also allows us find symmetry-breaking dynamical phase transition (DPT) conditioned prior knowledge DPT current.

Statistics of current-activity fluctuations in asymmetric flow with exclusion.
We consider steady-state current activity statistics for the one-dimensional totally asymmetric simple exclusion process. With the help of the known operator algebra (for general open boundary conditions), as well as general probabilistic concepts (for the periodic case), we derive and evaluate closed-form expressions for the lowest three moments of the probability distribution function. These ...
متن کاملCurrent Large Deviations for Asymmetric Exclusion Processes with Open Boundaries
Recently, a theory has been developed to describe the current fluctuations of diffusive stochastic gas in their non-equilibrium steady state.(4,6,7,8,9,25,32) The large deviation functional of the current can be obtained in terms of a difficult variational problem; namely one needs to find the most likely time dependent density profile conditionally to the value of the current. So far some conc...

We prove nonequilibrium fluctuations for the boundary driven symmetric simple exclusion process. We deduce from this result the stationary fluctuations.
متن کاملCurrent-activity versus local-current fluctuations in a driven flow with exclusion.
We consider fluctuations of steady-state current activity, and of its dynamic counterpart, the local current, for the one-dimensional totally asymmetric simple exclusion process. The cumulants of the integrated activity behave similarly to those of the local current, except that they do not capture the anomalous scaling behavior in the maximal-current phase and at its boundaries. This indicates...
متن کاملCurrent open questions in complete mixability
Complete and joint mixability has raised considerable interest in recent few years, in both the theory of distributions with given margins, and applications in discrete optimization and quantitative risk management. We list various open questions in the theory of complete and joint mixability, which are mathematically concrete, and yet accessible to a broad range of researchers without specific...
